GoJa is made by Mecora Ltd, a company registered in New Zealand. "We" and "us" mean Mecora Ltd. Our privacy policy explains how we handle your information.
Your account
- You need to be at least 16 to use GoJa.
- Give us accurate sign-up details and keep your sign-in safe. You're responsible for what happens on your account.
- You can delete your account at any time. See Delete your GoJa account.
Your trip content
The places, notes and plans you add to GoJa are yours. To run GoJa, you let us store, copy and show that content to the people on your trips, and process it with the services in our privacy policy. That permission ends when you delete the content or your account, except for copies other people on the trip need to keep their plans.
The people on a trip can see what's shared on it. Only add things you're happy for your squad to see, and only add other people's details when they'd expect it.
Using GoJa fairly
Don't use GoJa to:
- break the law, or harass, threaten or harm anyone;
- share content you don't have the right to share;
- get into accounts or trips that aren't yours, or interfere with how GoJa works;
- copy, scrape or resell GoJa or its data, or use automated tools to overload it.
We may remove content or suspend accounts that break these rules.
Passes and top-ups
- Squad Trip Pass. A one-off purchase for one trip. It unlocks GoJa's premium features for everyone on that trip for 3 or 6 months, depending on the pass you choose.
- Loop Top-up. A one-off purchase that adds extra Loop generations to one trip, valid for 3 or 6 months.
- Neither renews, and neither is a subscription. When a pass or top-up runs out, your trip and everything in it stays available. The app shows what each one includes and its price before you buy.
- Apple or Google takes payment, under their terms. Ask them for refunds. GoJa support explains how.
Plans, places and AI
GoJa helps you plan, but it doesn't book anything for you, and it isn't a travel agent. Opening hours, travel times, place details and AI-made suggestions and translations come from other services and can be wrong or out of date. Check anything important, such as opening hours, bookings and transport, with the place or operator before you go. Bookings you make with restaurants, hotels or other businesses are between you and them.
Google Maps
GoJa includes Google Maps features and content. Your use of Google Maps features and content is subject to the current versions of the Google Maps/Google Earth Additional Terms of Service and the Google Privacy Policy.
Apple and Google
If you got GoJa from the App Store, Apple's Licensed Application End User License Agreement also applies. If you got it from Google Play, the Google Play Terms of Service also apply. Apple and Google aren't responsible for GoJa or for supporting it. We are.
Your rights and our liability
Nothing in these terms limits your rights under the Consumer Guarantees Act 1993, the Fair Trading Act 1986, the Australian Consumer Law, or any other law that can't be excluded.
Apart from those rights, we provide GoJa as it is and as available. We work to keep it running and accurate, but we can't promise it will always be available, error-free, or right about every place. As far as the law allows, we're not liable for indirect losses, such as a missed booking, a closed attraction, or travel costs, and our total liability to you is limited to what you paid us for GoJa in the 12 months before the claim.
Ending or changing these terms
You can stop using GoJa and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or close an account that seriously or repeatedly breaks these terms, and we'll tell you why unless the law stops us. If we ever shut GoJa down, we'll give you reasonable notice.
We may update these terms as GoJa changes. We'll update the date at the top, and tell you in the app about changes that matter. If you keep using GoJa after a change, the new terms apply. These terms are governed by New Zealand law, and New Zealand courts deal with any disputes.
