How GoJa works

From a group chat full of links to a plan the whole squad has said yes to. Screens show an example trip.

  1. Stash

Everyone saves the places they want to go.

That ramen spot from TikTok, the shrine your mate won't stop talking about. It all lands in one shared stash, tagged by squad, with must-dos flagged.

  2. Loop

GoJa turns the stash into days you can walk.

Pick the squads that are keen and GoJa groups their stashes by area into Loops: stops in walking order, with travel times between each one. Split a Loop in two or flip it end to start.

An example Loop on a map of Higashiyama, Kyoto: Kiyomizu-dera, Sannenzaka, Yasaka Shrine and Gion Shirakawa, with walking times of 6, 12 and 8 minutes between them. 6 min walk 12 min walk 8 min walk 1 Kiyomizu-dera 2 Sannenzaka 3 Yasaka Shrine 4 Gion Shirakawa Kamo River
Example Loop: Higashiyama, Kyoto. About 3 hours with stops.
  3. Itinerary

The squad commits, one plan at a time.

Pop a Loop onto a day. Everyone answers in or sitting out, and when something needs booking, one person taps "I'll sort this" so six of you don't ring the same restaurant.

Japan, handled.

  • No surprise closed signs

GoJa warns you when a place is shut on the day you planned it.

  • Real travel times

Walking and transit times between every stop, so the day fits the day.

  • A phrasebook with a voice

Save phrases for the trip and play them in a proper Japanese voice.

  • Book-ahead reminders

Some spots book out weeks early. GoJa reminds whoever is sorting it, in time.
